To accept debit and credit payments you’ll need a YouCloud uCube card reader connected to the app on your smart phone. You will need:
• Android device (smartphone or tablet)
• YouCloud uCube Card Reader
• YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS Application
• Valid Bank Account with Partner Bank

Now, you can accept not just cash but also debit/credit cards from your customers. Mobile Wallet, QR Pay, and NFC payments are also in the pipeline for YouCloud. We will inform you on the developments from time to time.

For enabling your debit/credit card acceptance through YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS, Merchant Discount Rate implemented by the bank will apply. For more info, please contact our Customer Care team.

You need to be over age 18 to create a YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS Account. For security and regulatory compliance purposes, you also need to undergo an identity check and have a legitimate business in the country.

 
 

Refunds

You are able to refund a sale directly from the mobile app.

We do not currently support partial refunds. If you process a refund it will be for all the items you originally sold. If you process a refund, please be sure to have enough funds in your bank account to avoid extra fees. Transaction fees for the original purchase will not be refunded.

If a customer wishes to return a product, you can process a refund from the mobile app.

  1. Tap the Void icon at the right side of the payment screen, next to UPI Payment, below Sale by Cash.
  2. Enter the amount and the invoice number of transaction to be voided and tap on Proceed button.
  3. App will generate the history items based on the entered Invoice number. Once the Invoice has been generated, tap on the Void Button below of the details button.
  4. Connect uCube device, insert the bankcard of the customer and enter the PIN. Once the transaction has been approved, remove bankcard and the transaction has been successful.

Chargebacks

If a customer was dissatisfied with a purchase they made from you, they may contact their card issuer to initiate a chargeback.

A chargeback happens when a customer has contacted their card issuer with a complaint relating to a charge they have incurred. The customer’s card issuer will decide whether a chargeback should be issued.

If the card issuer issues a chargeback, YouCloud must process it and return the full amount of the funds to the customer’s card issuer.

To enroll with our YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS, please follow this procedure:

  • Visit the nearest Partner Bank for YouCloud Merchant Service enrollment and bring the following documents:
    • Copy of Incorporation / Registration Certificate
    • Copy of MOA & AOA (Sign all the pages)
    • Copy of Organization PAN Card
    • Original Copy of Bank Statement (Latest first 2 Pages)
    • Communication Address Proof (Electricity Bill/Telephone Bill/Rent Agreement)
    • Identity & Address Proof (ID Pan Card & Add AADHAR/Passport) All Directors/partner/proprietors/LLP
    • Passport Size Photographs (All Directors/partner/proprietors/LLP)
    • Copy of Business Registration Certificate (S&E / ST / VAT)
    • Copy of Partnership Deed / Trust Deed / LLP Agreement Containing list of Partners/Signatory
  • If you have a bank account with our Partner Bank, you can directly fill out the YouCloud Merchant Enrollment form and submit to the Bank representative.
  • If you do not have a bank account with our Partner Bank, you will need to open a bank account with them first. Then, fill out the YouCloud Merchant Enrollment form and submit to the Bank representative.
  • After successful identity check and bank approval, you will receive an e-mail/SMS confirmation for your Merchant ID, YouCloud Merchant Portal and YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS application login details.

For your YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS account to take effect, it has to be identified with a bank account with our Partner Bank. This is where you will receive the funds from customer credit/debit card payment transactions.

The Partner Bank will issue the uCube Card Reader after your YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS account has been activated. Then, YouCloud will issue the YouCloud Retail/Resto POS after your YouCloud account has been activated.

Mobile software

You can create a YouCloud MPOS/Retail/MPOS account through web interface at www.youcloudpayment.in

Launch the YouCloud Payment website on your phone or direct to your browser to www.youcloudpayment.in and select “Merchant Sign Up”.

You will then download and fill up the YouCloud Merchant Service Enrollment Form.

Visit the nearest Partner Bank branch:

  • If you have a bank account with our Partner Bank, you can directly fill out the YouCloud Merchant Service Enrollment Form and submit to the Bank representative.
  • If you do not have a bank account with our Partner Bank, you will need to open a bank account with them first. Then, fill out the YouCloud Merchant Service Enrollment Form and submit to the Bank representative.
  • After successful identity check and bank approval, you will receive an e-mail/SMS confirmation for your Merchant ID, YouCloud Merchant Portal and YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS App login details.

The YouCloud MPOS/Retail/Resto POS app can be installed for free from your Android Mobile or  Tablet’s app store.

  • Launch the Google Play store and search for “YouCloud MPOS” or “YouCloud Retail” or “YouCloud Resto”.
  • Select the “YouCloud MPOS” or “YouCloud Retail” or “YouCloud Resto” app and press “Install”.
